Toy testing

To ensure that toys pose no risk to children, the Hohenstein Institute tests toys independently and objectively for compliance with various legal regulations. For example, we test your toys for harmful substances and design faults so that you can guarantee the high quality of your product. We test for compliance with the EN 71 standard. A toy that meets the requirements of these regulations is regarded as a safe toy according to the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and meets some of the requirements for CE certification.
