Hygiene Environment Medicine

Our interdisciplinary team offers testing in the fields of hygiene, the environment and medicine. Our Hygiene Service includes technical advice on hygiene management relating to operations and products, testing and certification, and providing expert hygiene-based opinions on the listing of disinfectant procedures. We assess reprocessing techniques in accordance with RAL GZ 992 in the hospital, care home and foodstuffs sectors and also in relation to domestic laundry. With regard to the environment, our eco-toxicological testing measures the effect of substances on the living world and enables us to make statements about the sustainability of materials. In medicine, we test for biocompatibility and allergens. Our Medicine Services also include functional testing of wound dressings, performance assessments in relation to workplace safety, and examining the interaction between textiles and cosmetics, using the synthetic skin model HUMskin.
