When using our services you may be asked to supply personal data. Providing this information is voluntary. Your personal data is used in strict accordance with German data protection laws.

Personal data supplied on the Hohenstein Institute websites is used as part of the contract procedure and in order to process your requests. Processing and using your data for consultation, advertising and market research purposes only takes place with your explicit consent.

Conditions of use for images

If you download the files that are available in the Press section, the following restricted, non-exclusive rights of use apply:

You may print off the files (both the files for downloading and the preview pictures) for the purpose of writing an article for print media, or, in the case of online reporting, you may publish them on your website to accompany text associated with the article. The images may only be reproduced unchanged!

The right of use that is granted does not encompass the right to pass the images on to third parties. In particular, the files must not be made available for downloading from other Internet sites, neither free of charge nor for a fee. This applies particularly to unauthorised sales via image databases/image agencies/stock photo services etc.!

Cookies (also: Google Analytics)

When you visit our website our server will, in the interests of system security, temporarily record the domain name or IP address of the computer accessing the site as well as the time and date of access, the data query of the client (file name and URL), the HTTP reply code and the website from which you accessed us, as well as the number of bytes transferred in the course of the connection. When visiting our wegpages a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plugin.
