Research area renamed "Hohenstein Institut für Textilinnovation e.V."
Effective immediately, Hohenstein Institute has changed the name of its research unit. The corporate unit which has hitherto been known as the Bekleidungsphysiologisches Institut Hohenstein e.V. (BPI) will now operate as the Hohenstein Institut für Textilinnovation e.V. (HIT). This move will not affect HIT's articles of association or its status as a non-profit organisation.
Schloss Hohenstein in Boennigheim has been home to the head office of the Hohenstein Institute research and service centre since 1946. Effective immediately, the research area founded in 1961 will operate under the name Hohenstein Institut für Textilinnovation e.V.
